Those who are seeking more adventure can rent an open air electric vehicle from Acadia Gem and enter the park directly from our doorstep! Want to avoid the traffic? Take advantage of the Island Explorer Buses which leave from the Village Green in town center and offer visitors access to popular locations in the Park and around Mount Desert Island at no cost.
