The season is coming to a close for us and this year has been a whirlwind of fun events, from the Taste of Bar Harbor to the Acadia Night Sky Festival and the Mount Desert Island Marathon. We have had the chance to enjoy them all and to meet so many of you and we feel that we’ve made some lifelong friends!
The inn closed for the season today, but Bar Harbor surely hasn’t! During the fall and winter months, there are plenty of activities available to keep you busy. In December when the first snowflake touches the ground, we hope that you remember that the Eagle Lake portion of Acadia National Park’s carriage roads is groomed for cross country skiing. Providing there is enough snow, one lane of the Park Loop Road is open to snowmobiles and one lane is for cross country skiing creating the perfect winter wonderland getaway.
|We will save you a rocking chair for your next visit!
Whatever the season, we are excited to share with you everything that Bar Harbor has to offer. We encourage you to make reservations early and visit our website to check for availability.
Thank you for the wonderful season and we hope to see you in 2016!
White wicker on a wrap-around porch and a summer breeze…that’s Yellow House.
We look forward to welcoming you,
